FINAL EXAM

Comparing two different places that i have lived are USA, and Iraq. There are a lot of different things from middle eastern and the western living styles.
There are many different thing's from the U.S.A and Iraq. One important differences is education. Education in the U.S.A is much better then the education in Iraq. I had a hard time understanding and learning in Iraq because of the teachers and their methods of teaching. Also i was working and going to school so i can pay for school in Iraq. Here in the U.S there are many different kinds of help from the government for paying for me to go to school and learn. For example financial aid and student loans. There are no such things in Iraq.
Another different thing in Iraq and U.S is the weather in Iraq I had a hard time going outside because of how hot it is year round. Also the electricity always goes out because of the heat. In the U.S the weather is perfect because it's always changing and it's not as hot as in Iraq. There is air conditioning in my house. In Iraq we had no air conditioning. It was very expensive to afford it.
The most important thing is safety and in Iraq there is no safety. I had a lot of family members that got killed. That's why living in the U.S is very good because there are laws and police forces here in the U.S. In Iraq its dangerous, and scary to go out not knowing when I will get killed. Going to school was very difficult because of all the bombings and killing of innocent students, and people. My brother and me always had to take different routes to school and never walk alone. It was hard for me to get an education. In the U.S it is very safe and I can go anywhere i want, without having to fear for my life. because of the strong police force and the laws here.
In conclusion U.S.A is a much better country to live in then Iraq. Because of the safety, education, weather, and there are also many other different things, but these are the most important. I love living here in the U.S then Iraq and people are much nicer here in the U.S. I would advice anyone to come and live in the states.

I always wanted to meet Muhammad Ali Clay, he was always my hero when I was a kid and as I grew up I respected him even more. He was a very good man, that was very respected as the former heavy weight Champion. He talked a lot about his opponents but in the ring he backed it up. People really started to respect him more when he got chosen to fight in the war with Vietnam and said " No I wont battle in War because its cruel to kill people" thats when he got more respect from people, he got three years in jail for not going to battle. He was very successful in his life. I really want to meet him.

A good argument has to have a lot of words to back up what the argument is about. Good arguments start with a good topic to talk about. Every good argument take's a long time. The main point of a good argument is to good come backs, not just a bad argument thats pointless and ends fast, good arguments have good back fire and good points to talk about. It also has to end in a good and helpful way that everyone wins and everyone's happy.

Family always have your back, and help you when your in need of it. Your family's always with you no matter what. Family never lets you down they're always with you and always support you. Families that stick together can accomplish anything. Family is also the future. You need to have a good family to have a good life and society for people other than your family.

8-How to be a true fiend.
In my relationships with my friends are very truthful and loyal relationships.
In order to be a true friend, you have to stick with your friend and help him when he's down, you also have to be with him through thick and thin. All of these are ways to be a true good friend. A true friend stays close to his friends and helps them out when in need and not tries to avoid them. Also true friends last because they build a trust between them that they won't break. Friends come and go but end with you.

Passage Ms.Roesmary

An experience that made me mad before went like this. My car broke down and didn't start in the morning when I was trying to go for a morning jog. So I had to get dropped off there by my son on the way there I specifically told him to fix my car by tomorrow morning because I need to do a lot of things that are very important. Then I woke up and it's still not fixed so I was very very angry, so I called my son and as angry as I was, I yelled at him and told him to come home right now and fix my car. He came and gave me his car so I car go get my things done, by the time I came home he was done, but I was so angry I didn't even say thank you.

About myself.

My name is Aboud Muhsson,I am from Iraq,I came to U.S.in 2001,I am married,I have three son and three doughter,I live in Michigan with my family I happy with them.
Since I came to the U.S.,I have worked in more than company and I was work full time. I liked sport, and I liked to play soccer.
My English has improved, and I Know I can be billingual and fluent English and Arabic, and I whanted to continue my education and learn more. And I look forward to accomplish that.

narrative paragraph.

My experience in Michigan is that the living environment is better and cleaner than Iraq. The jobs in Michigan are well paid and safe. Also my experience in school is much better than Iraq. the Law in U.S.enforced better than in Iraq. The economy here is well organized and more powerful than it is in Iraq. My point is that I can live a happy life here rather than in Iraq where I can be wasting my time.

The weather in U.S. is different than Iraq. For example, in the United States it's very cold, but in Iraq it is very hot. Also, the people here are different than the people in Iraq. Many people in the U.S. follow the law. The people here have their own cars, but in Iraq people use taxis and buses or walk to where they go to work. And the language is different because here the people speak English, and in Iraq speak Arabic. When I came to America I experienced this because I see that its much easier in the U.S for people to travel and go places. Also the weather in Iraq is one season and that season is summer and here there are 4 seasons in Michigan, this is hard for me to get use to because I come from a background where I only had to wear and worry about 1 kind of season.

Also the education in U.S.is better and well taught better than in Iraq.every thing here different my country, I like my country but I want to be better than any
place, and I like visit it any time, and saw all thing change to better of before, because I enjoy if saw my country very beautiful. This is important to me because I see that the U.S has a good education that I can benefit from and use this in dally life basics.

In Iraq the government admits a sale the petrol to give power to the a economy,in the U.S.the government admits produce and make cars and planes. The food in the U.S.different in Iraq, for example in the Iraq the food is cheap and in the U.S.is very expensive. Also in the U.S.people are more free than the people in Iraq, for example the people in the U.S.have freedom of speech and in Iraq they don't have freedom of speech. This shows how the economy is different and it helped me because I got to see what my country is like I compare it to the U.S and I benefit so much for example, the freedom of speech shows that I can express what I want to say and not get in trouble for it.

The people in Iraq are not happy because they have a lot of bombings and terries it attacks, and they there is killing and very dangerous to even go outside and go to the store to buy food or anything. The people in Iraq are leaving because they cant live in a horrible place. People in Iraq also cant live there because so many family members are dieing and getting murdered. In the U.S. this would never happen because life here is different the law is strict and organized. I was living in a dangerous area where there wasn't any law or a society where people can live in peace. This was very bad for me and my family I had to sleep and pray that nothing would happen to them. I had to go threw this before and it wasn't good, but now I don't have to worry because in the U.S it is safe.

To the Editor.

Sensationalist reporting is harmful to all people involved and has no place in
our society.
I belive the media is harmful to all people involved and has no place in our society.
For example, if somebody killed or stole or hit somebody else what do you think
about him?
The society accept that or refuse. My answer of course I refuse that because this persons harmful the society.

DEARBORN WOMAN CROWNED MISS USA.
HISTORY-MAKING’ FOR ARAB-AMERICANS.
Imad hamad could barely contain his excitement Sunday night: Rima Fakin of Dearborn had just won the Miss USA title and she represented more than just a pretty face.
Fakih, a Lebanese-American, represented her city, and, Arab- American everywhere.
“Her win resembles the richness of American,” said Hamad, director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in the city and form whom Fakih received financial help for the pageant.
“It’s history-making,. These moments bring the prize to all of us Arab-Americans.”
Fakih,24,recovered after nearly stumbling in her evening gown’s long train and beat out four others in the final round Sunday.
When asked how she felt about winning the crown, she said, “Ask me after I’ve had a pizza.”
During the interview portion, Fakih was asked whether she thought birth control should be paid for by health insurance, and she said she believed it should because it’s costly.
I believe that birth control is just like every other medication even though it’s a condoled substance, Fakih said.
Later Sunday, from a celebration at a Las Vegas hotel, called supporters at a party at west Dearborn’s La pita restaurant. She spelled out Detroit as though she were chanting a cheer before her promoter took her off speaker phone. The new Miss USA will have to get new protocols, one of which includes no unauthorized contact with the media.
Rami Haddad, the promoter, sad her win is motivation for all young people. She’s American first, he said, but she broke the stereotype about Arabs, about Dearborn.
Caroline Sitto came from Bloomfield Hills to La pita to celebrate Fakih’s win.
Many believed she’d never win. It’s good for her breaking all barriers, Sitto said, comparing it to President Barack Obama’s barrier-breaking win.
Hamad said he never wavered, I really though this young woman was going to make it, he said, despite what some may have seen as the cultural challenge of bridging Arab-Americans conservatism, especially among Dearborn Muslims ,and beauty pageants.
AS a result of her win, Fakih won a spot representing the United States in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant. She also gets a one-year lease in a New York apartment with living expenses, an undisclosed salary, and various health, professional and beauty services.
A graduate of St. John’s Preparatory Catholic High School, Rima attended the University of Michigan Dearborn, where she earned her bachelor of arts degree in economics with a minor in business administration, according to the Miss Michigan USA website.
I write about this topic from Detroit news.

random act of kindness week Ms.kristi

There are lots of random act of kindness, like making a card at home and sending it to a friend for no reason, stopping and help someone replace their tire and other things. There are a lot of ways to be kind to people. Being kind is a good thing because you learn and you are helping as well.

I think being kind for a person or just to yourself is kind. If someone needs help lend them a hand to help out . You can help by doing everything making a card helping putting gas in someones car if they' re on the street.

All the examples are the same. They take about how people help someone in some way, like this girl I read about online (WWW.actsofkindness.org) she was working on my way though college and living on mac and cheese when one day she came home to find four bags of groceries sitting at a door. Her didn't find out until five yours later, dear friend help me out. I read that and I see. I have to write about it that is kind of her friend to do that for her.

I believe that world would be better place if we all had more compassion for one another and showed kindness at all times, not just when tragic hits. This world is such a beautiful place. We should all be lucky that we are still part of it.

In conclusion , I think everyone should help someone with some thing. Everyone is kind and everyone needs help in some way. By helping someone , even just giving a homeless person 3 dollars is being kind.

Death Penalty Ms.Kristi

Congress on any state legislature may prescribe the death penalty, also known as capital punishment, for murder and other capital crimes. the supreme court has ruled that the death penalty is not a per se violation of the Eighth Amendments ban on cruel and unusual punishment
put the Eighth Amendment does shape certian procedural aspects regarding when a jury may use the death penalty and how it must be carried out. Because of the fourteen Amendments Due
process clause, the Eighth Amendment applies against the state, as well as the Federal government. The U.S suprem court has determined that a penalty must be proportional to the crime, otherwise, the punishment. violates the Eighth Amendment's prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment. In performing it's proportionality analysis, the supreme court loks to the following three factors a consideration of the offenses gravity and the stringency of the penalty, a consideration of how the jurisdiction punishes it's other criminals, and a consideration
of how other jurisdictions punish the sam crime.
Racial bias has always been a significant issue in death penalty debates. There have been many careful statistical studies indicating that race play significant role in determining who lives.
For example, a study released in 2003 by the University of Maryland concluded that race, along with geography, is an important factor in death penalty decisions in that state prosecutors are more likely to seek the death penalty when the race of the victim is African- American.
Almost 80% of death row defendants have been executed for killing white victims, even thought in society as a whole African-American account for about half of number victims.
I am for the death penalty, because these penalty will be less crimes in the society and protect people of criminal and realization the justice in the society. I feel these punishment will finish murder in the society and will assistant people to lives life happy and safety.

Child Rearing Ms.Rosemary

An approach to anything ..child rearing , for instance ..that calls itself a'' common sense'' approach , we soon find out that what we are in fact getting is an approach that is widely accepted
in the culture as a whole. So it quit right to call Spock a common sense approach does reflect views accepted widely in our culture .
Now on of the thing that I came to realize is that the kind of approach toward education, child rearing ,and family life that I was interested in didn't reflect the surrounding culture ti any great
extent. On the contrary, it represented a break with the culture. T used to have a terrible time talking to people about child rearing. I found out that it was a subject that I couldn't talk to almost anybody else about, precisely because I didn't share a comin language with many other people in this area. It is very upsetting to recollect this, because this was tied up with a process of I underwent personally, and it all started because I was so sure that all the things I stood for wee
just plain common sense, that none of them are common sense because they don't represent the
generally accepted approach.
So then I asked myself, how could I characterize what I am doing? And I thought,'' well. I am
raising my children naturally, I am going back to state of nature, which seemed an appropriate why to see thing, since I felt that the culture had alienated itself from nature. And what we have
to do is go back to nature. this view was quite fashionable, it went with natural food, natural living, natural this and that. So I started saying my approach to child rearing was "natural." until
I began to study nature more closely, and found out that time and time again I was not doing the natural thing at all .

Pick one of the president's of the United States.

Pick one of the president's of the United States MS: Rosemary
George Washington was the first president of the United States. He was a Virginia planter.
Also he pursued two intertwined intersts: militan/arts and western expansion. George Washington was president from April 30,1789,George Washington came from westmoreland
county,Virginia. At the time of the Philadelphia Convention, the nationalists wanted Gorge Washington to be the first president and the monarchists wanted him to be the first King. So
it was pretty well desided that, one wayor another, Washington was going to be in charge after
the Constitution was ratified.

The first thing we do as soon as we came to U.S.A. about two years ago was to search for an apartment in order not live with one of our relatives. After looking for one month ti find a suitable apartment I finally found the apartment where we have been living. It include a living
room, three bedroom and a kichen. probably the living room is my favorite room of all because
we often gather togather there after we come home from work or school. It is a comfortable
room for our family . Entering the living room from the front. we can we a new piano in the corner with a vase of color flowers on it . In the site corner stood any television which I bought
for my children to watching cartoons and for us to see films and get the Daily News. beside, there is a sofa next to the piano , a loveseat beside the TV, and also a table between them. This is a
comfortable place to sit while we watched TV or talking on one of the light blue walls is a tranquil
pikture of Sea. The floor is covered with a dark red carpet, which my children like to play on they, also like to sit on it when they watchTV. The large window is shaded by a light colored curtain, given the rom a soft bright feeling . A ceiling fan with small lights is hanging from the ceiling. Whenever the fan and lights are one, we can see dangling is a place where we received our guests, gatther togather to discuss any topic and enjoy our time.
